We’re looking at the horses/horse girls that made us and how horse culture is changing. We are looking for pitches with a clear voice and point of view. Think big, get weird, have fun.

Email your pitch to creative@callingallhorsegirls.com. Please also include a short bio about you and an example of past work.

If you have an idea you think needs a little help, we are happy to brainstorm with you!

Work we will consider:

Pitches can be for stories, interviews, photography/editorial ideas, design ideas for the poster, or anything else you can think of.

If you have a finished piece of work, a single photo, or an art piece you think would fit this theme, you are more than welcome to submit that for consideration.

Deadline for initial pitch:

July 1st

Payment:

You will be paid if your idea is chosen to move forward with. We will pay based on the number of words or breadth of the project.

Execution:

If we think your pitch is a good fit for our next volume, we will follow up with the CAHG publishing guidelines. This will include the timeline. Please note that all ideas should be able to be executed within 30 days.
